Balloon flights often get booked up in advance, so we recommend you book early.

All balloon flights begin soon after dawn which means an early start. All flights take off from Little Governors’ Camp. If you are staying at another Governors’ Camp we will arrange your transfer to the take-off site.

Flights last an average of 1 hour, and offer excellent photographic opportunities. Enjoy stunning views and exceptional game viewing from the balloon.

A Champagne Breakfast is served at the landing site and you will enjoy a game drive on the way back to your camp.

Expect to return to Little Governors’ Camp by 11 am; if you’re departing the Mara the same morning we’ll get you back earlier.

Guests staying at other camps in the Mara close to Little Governors’ Camp can also book the balloon safari.
