Governors Camp

Loldia House - nestles under the Acacia trees on one of the country’s oldest farms. It was built in the Second World War and had breath-taking views of the dormant volcano, Mt Longonot. Mouthwatering meals are served under the trees or in the original dinning room.

Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport off your international flight. Transfer by road through the scenically beautiful Great Rift Valley down to Loldia House, nestling on the shores of Lake Naivasha. A two hour drive from Nairobi. Enjoy a delicious lunch on the lawn overlooking Mt Longonot.

Afternoon at leisure on the farm, with the option of a late afternoon horse ride or evening walk with Loldia’s resident naturalist or a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, witnessing the prolific variety of bird-life on the lake and the lake shore. Dinner and overnight at Loldia House.

Full day’s activities on Loldia Ranch. These include horse riding, guided bird and game walks, birdwatching and fishing trips on Lake Naivasha, visits to the local flower farm and a night game drive. Dinner in the traditional dinning room hosted by Peter and overnight Loldia House.

Early breakfast before departing to Lake Nakuru National Park. Morning game drive around Lake Nakuru, famous for its abundance of flamingos and large variety of water birds. Lake Nakuru is also one of Kenya’s Rhino Sanctuaries and large numbers of Rhinos are regularly seen, along with good sightings of Leopard.

Lunch is served under the Acacia trees overlooking the lake. Returning to Loldia in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Loldia House.

Governors’ IL Moran Camp is stunning! The camp is located on the banks of the Mara River with only 10 huge tents. Each tent has been furnished with unique king size beds made from ancient Olive wood. IL Moran is the perfect honeymooners getaway.

A late breakfast served on the lawns of Loldia House, after breakfast there is plenty of time for either a horse ride on the ranch or a fascinating bird watching trip on the Lake. A sumptuous lunch will the be served. After lunch you will be transferred to the Loldia Airstrip for your direct flight to the Mara. Arriiving at the Giovernors’ airstrip at approximately 4:00pm, you will enjoy a short game drive en route to the camp.

Pre dinner drinks around the campfire, a four course candlelit dinner in the dining tent and overnight at Governors’ IL Moran Camp.

Depart the camp at 5.15am to the Balloon Safari site. A fabulous I hour Hot Air Balloon safari across the plains of the Masai Mara . On landing enjoy a champagne bush breakfast, freshly cooked before you eyes. In the middle of the Mara plains. Game drive back to camp. Spend the morning relaxing before lunch at the camp, afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight.

Mfangano Island Camp is set in beautiful gardens on a secluded bay on the island. The six double rooms, all offering spectacular views across the lake are tastefully decorated in the Luo tribal style of thatch and clay. Each morning, fleets of brightly coloured fishing boats glide past, and each evening, as you dine on the freshest of catches, their lights shimmer across the water.

Early morning transfer to Musiara Airstrip for private charter to Mfangano Airstrip (30 minute Flight). Arrive at Mfangano Airstrip and take a boat trip to Mfangano Island Camp (30 minute flight) in time for breakfast. Spend the day fishing on the Lake – with a chance to catch the giant Nile Perch, birdwatching, boat rides or trips to the local friendly villages. Lunch and dinner at the camp.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the camp and enjoy all the activities the lake provides or simply relax and sunbathe in the beautiful gardens on the Lake shore or by the stunning pool. Overnight Mfangano Island Camp.

Breakfast and lunch at Mfangano Island Camp. After an early lunch transfer by boat to Mfangano Airstrip for return flight to the Mara. In time for the scheduled flight at 4:00pm for Nairobi. Arriving at Wilson Airport at 5.00pm.

Where you will be met and transferred to the very well known Carnivore restaurant for dinner (Dinner to be paid direct). After dinner transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your international flight home.
