When you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and driven to Wilson Airport for your Governors’ Aviation flight to Masai Mara. The flight takes around 45 minutes over the scenically beautiful Great Rift Valley. On arrival in the Masai Mara, it’s a short game drive to your chosen camp (Governors’ Camp, Little Governors’ Camp or Governors’ Il Moran), before an al fresco lunch and time to relax.

Head out on a thrilling late-afternoon game drive and return at dusk for drinks and chatter around the campfire, before your dinner. Fall asleep to the night-time chorus of the Masai Mara.

Arise early each morning to make the most of your spectacular location. You will have the option of up to three game drives (per full day) within the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Depending on your preferences, we have a range of activities to keep you occupied either side of game viewing. We suggest a magical hot-air balloon safari over the Masai Mara if you’re looking for an unforgettable adventure. Please note that a balloon safari is an extra cost.

On your last morning in the Mara, enjoy breakfast in camp and some relaxation time before your departure. We will then fly you with Governors’ Aviation up to Mugie Conservancy in Laikipia. At the airstrip, you will be met on arrival by one of our guides who will take you on a quick game drive (about 25 minutes) en-route to the property.

Your days at Governors’ Mugie offer unique sightings of rare and endangered wildlife species that are endemic to this part of Kenya. Guided bush walks, e-bikes, sundowners, lion tracking, bush meals, canoeing, visits to the anti-poaching team and the conservancy headquarters are all included in the rate. Golfing, spa and cultural experiences are at an extra cost.

Enjoy a final early morning game drive before returning for breakfast, or relax by the pool. Afterwards, we will transfer you to Mugie Airstrip for your Governors’ Aviation flight back to Nairobi.

Once you’ve landed back in Nairobi, you may wish to explore the city a little before your international flight home; please discuss the options with your Travel Designer.

Enjoy a six night safari combining Governors’ Il Moran Camp and Governors’ Mugie, with free scheduled regional flights, (not private charters) on Governors’ Aviation.
