They work closely with local medical providers and operate seamlessly within our incident management framework to support guests in any medical situation, from minor concerns to emergencies.
Our commitment extends beyond the guest’s stay in camp. Wilderness24 remains available until you have safely returned home, ensuring a seamless continuation of care. Should you or your travel party have specific medical needs or concerns, we offer tailored guidance and pre-travel risk assessments to ensure your party are fully prepared and comfortable for their journey.
Wilderness24 can be accessed at any time through your Camp Manager, Travel Designer, or Guest Experience Liaison.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have received all vaccinations required for the countries you will be visiting. Some destinations, for example, require proof of Yellow Fever vaccination for entry. In such cases, Port Health Authorities may deny entry to travellers who are unable to produce valid vaccination certificates. Kenya currently requires proof of Yellow Fever vaccination certification. Medical exemptions from getting the vaccination is possible but requires a letter from a registered medical practitioner with the relevant details as to the medical reason for exemption.
If you are unsure of the requirements for your destination, we strongly recommend consulting a general practitioner or travel clinic in your country of residence well in advance of travel.
