Empowering the next generation.
In Kenya, primary education is largely accessible, marking the beginning of a journey for millions of children. For many bright, deserving students, however, this is where the journey ends. Secondary schooling requires financial support that many families cannot afford, creating a critical gap between a child’s potential and their future.
We believe education is the key to empowerment. The Bursary Fund is our commitment to bridging this gap, raising essential funds for students from our neighbouring communities whose parents cannot afford to send them to secondary school.
This initiative is a vital part of our wider mission with Children in the Wilderness (CITW), a program dedicated to educating and empowering Africa’s future conservation leaders. By supporting their education, we are not only investing in their individual futures but also nurturing the next generation of guardians for Kenya’s wilderness.

Contributions, no matter the size, have a direct and lasting impact. We are incredibly proud that our fund is currently supporting 27 students on their educational journeys, and with your help, we can grow that number.
We pool all contributions to create full, three-year bursaries. This ensures that once a student is accepted into the program, their funding is secure for their entire secondary education.
Here is what your support can provide:
USD 900: Covers the complete fees for a day student for three full years (Forms 2, 3, and 4).
USD 1,500: Provides three full years of tuition and boarding for one boarding student.
These comprehensive bursaries cover tuition, uniforms, meals and stationery supplies. For those who wish to create a deeper connection, we are happy to provide regular updates on your sponsored child’s academic progress.
Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to a brighter future for these students. Please join us in making education accessible for all.
Donations of any size can be made via various methods.
