Safari transport in Kenya is coordinated using a combination of scheduled light aircraft, charter flights, and road transfers. Remote safari regions are commonly accessed by small aircraft landing on designated airstrips near camps. Road transfers may be used for shorter distances or between regions such as the Great Rift Valley and the Masai Mara. Transport planning is essential to manage travel time, flight schedules, and reserve access rules.

We can arrange your ‘meet and greet’ at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, road transfers within Nairobi, city hotel bookings and excursions, and your transfer to Wilson Airport – the domestic airport serving most regional flights. With our aviation service, Governors’ Aviation, we can book your internal flights to the Masai Mara and Loldia House in the Great Rift Valley.
Governors’ Aviation operates daily flights from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to the Masai Mara, Loldia House and Amboseli, taking around 45 minutes over the scenic Great Rift Valley. Please note that some flights operate with a minimum of 2 passengers.
Clients staying at Governors’ properties are met on arrival and transferred by vehicle to camp.
We can also arrange charter flights to and from other destinations within Kenya.
