We are pleased to introduce guided Nature Walks – a new way to explore the landscape surrounding Loldia House and to experience a working landscape where conservation and agriculture coexist.

Loldia Farm spans 700 acres, including a fenced, rewilded acacia zone where native vegetation has been restored, and smaller wildlife thrives. This area offers guests the opportunity to explore on foot with one of our experienced guides, gaining a deeper understanding of how the ranch functions as both a farm and a conservation space.
The walk is unhurried and easy, allowing time to appreciate the finer details often missed from a vehicle – tracks pressed into the soil, insects moving through the grasses, and birds calling overhead. Along the way, you may spot warthogs, monkeys, and a wide variety of birdlife, all part of the Rift Valley ecosystem that surrounds Lake Naivasha.

Set within Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, Loldia Farm sits in an area shaped by geology, farming traditions, and conservation initiatives. In the distance lies the Eburru Forest, an important highland ecosystem and water catchment area that supports surrounding communities and wildlife.
Your guide will share insights into how these systems connect, how forest, farmland, and wildlife corridors influence one another, and how careful land management helps maintain balance. For guests who enjoy learning about the environments they travel through, the walk offers meaningful context and a closer look at how conservation works on the ground.

Depending on the timing, the walk may end with a sundowner above the Loldia Airstrip. From here, sweeping views stretch across the ranch towards Eburru, and as the afternoon light softens, it becomes a peaceful place to pause with a drink in hand. With open skies overhead and the landscape unfolding in every direction, it’s a memorable and fitting way to conclude the experience.

The Loldia Farm Nature Walk adds another dimension to a stay at Loldia House. It pairs well with visits to Eburru Forest, time on Lake Naivasha, or simply as a gentle activity between game drives and excursions.

More than anything, it offers the opportunity to step outside, slow down, and connect with the land in a direct and unhurried way.
We look forward to welcoming you at Loldia.
